ROBERT CHRISTIE
Robert Christie (New Zealand), Senior Security Adviser
Robert (Rab) Christie is a seasoned security specialist, with over 30 years of military experience, and a fellow of The Institute of Security Risk Management.
Rab has served as a tier 1 operator in high tempo situations in numerous countries at all levels, working alongside multiple agencies and military partner forces, designing, and providing training and mentoring. He has provided training to Anti-Poaching units and high-risk advice to NGOs. He is a UK trained hostage and crisis negotiator, certified kidnap incident manager CKIM and a mentor and facilitator on the Kidnap for Ransom Incident Management (KRIM) programme. He has recently lived in East Africa and advised private sector companies, NGOs and government organisations in the management of complex security risk challenges.
