Shaun Fogarty, co-founder of Critical Path Protection, is a senior executive leader with over three decades of experience in security governance, strategic risk management, and organisational transformation. A former Naval Captain in the New Zealand Defence Force, Shaun held senior appointments including Defence Attaché to four nations and Director of Strategic Engagement, where he drove integrated security strategies across complex environments.
His operational service in the Former Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, the Arabian Sea, and Timor Leste earned him recognition as a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit. Shaun’s approach is grounded in trust, discretion, and a commitment to delivering holistic protective security solutions that integrate systems, strengthen resilience, and align governance frameworks across public and private sector organisations.
Simon Scott, General Manager
Business Continuity and Emergency Management Expert
Simon Scott, co-founder of Critical Path Protection, is a seasoned leader with expertise in law enforcement, UN investigations, and emergency management. He has directed complex homicide cases, managed global teams, and held senior roles in emergency management and business continuity for the Government. Skilled in risk-based planning, evidential integrity, and stakeholder engagement, Simon combines operational excellence with collaborative leadership.
Beyond the public sector, he spent a decade building and scaling multiple stores within a leading hospitality franchise, mentoring others to achieve operational success. His hands-on experience in business development and team capability adds strong commercial acumen to his profile. Passionate about integrity, fairness, and safeguarding, Simon thrives in dynamic environments requiring adaptability and sound judgment.
